xsign has worked with New Victoria Hospital, in South West London, on the development of a new internal signage and wayfinding scheme. A series of 4mm backpainted frosted panels, suspended signs and directory boards on our patented jigsaw system feature throughout the medical practice in the organisation’s branded purple colours. The consistent use of the hospital’s branded purple throughout the scheme was central to the brief. In a private hospital setting, brand coherence across every patient touchpoint reinforces the quality and professionalism of the organisation, and carrying that colour through backpainted panels, suspended signs and directory boards ensures the identity reads clearly whether a patient is in the atrium, a corridor or outside a consulting room. In the atrium, 4mm frosted cut letters display the branding for the hospital reception area, helping to welcome visitors and patients in to the bright waiting area.
