xsign provided the internal and external signage at National Brownfield Institute at the University of Wolverhampton. The internal signage package comprises our patented jigsaw directory sign, our patented puzzle paper insert door sign, cut numerals and iconography for the key facilities.

The National Brownfield Institute is a landmark facility dedicated to research and education in sustainable land use and urban regeneration — a building whose signage needed to reflect the innovation and ambition of the institution it houses. As part of an ongoing relationship with the University of Wolverhampton, xsign brought established knowledge of the campus environment and the university’s brand standards to the project, ensuring continuity across both the new NBI building and the previously completed School of Architecture. The external signage package includes built-up letters to the front entrance to the building and built-up letters on the external facade.
