Locking Folio Signs
Published on Thursday 28th June 2018
As standard, Folio signs come with crimped holders which keeps the cover held in place, using push fit and friction. This is ideal for locations where security and tampering are not an issue. However, in areas where there is a chance of the paper inserts being removed or attacked, then a new locking solution is available at a small extra cost.
The key to security is that it is not visually obvious how the signs are locked. Whilst it is possible to open the sign with a variety of tools, it is recommended that clients use the tools provided to avoid unnecessary stress on the locking mechanism.
No tools are required to lock the cover click into the locking mechanism. All sizes and variants of Folio can be locked by adding this option.
